Take 5:
Branded clothing simplified

Take a moment to focus on these 5 building blocks that can help to make your clothing more visible, comfortable and stylish.

1: Consistent brand application
Brand application to clothing takes care and attention. Branded wear can create a powerful first impression of your company if the brand is applied consistently.

2: Print method
Choosing the right application method for each garment is key. Whether the item is going to be screen printed, embroidered or use sublimation for all over prints dictates the complexity of the design.

3: Garment choice
Taking time to select the right garment colour can be a game changer. The colour, texture, style and fit are all crucial to make the clothing practical and comfortable.

4: Technical file set up
Well designed mechandise requires high resolution files to print perfectly. Working with vector files that can be scaled to any size without loss of sharpness can make all the difference to a sharp looking end result. Graphics used for clothing need to be bold enough to be able to be printed or embroidered to achieve a great finish.

5: Comfort
Large areas of plastic inks can create an area that is not breathable. Choosing production methods that don't use plastic will help. Applying a vintage 'distressed' texture to the graphics enables the fabric to show through and can help the garment breathe. This can make the clothing much more comfortable to wear.
