We are delighted to announce that Brond in collaboration with Gloucester Rugby has won a Silver Design Business Association Design Effectiveness Award in recognition of the Gloucester Rugby rebrand that took place in 2018.
The Awards, which are internationally recognised and voted for by a prestigious panel of judges by leading figures from businesses including Adidas, Coca-Cola, Harrods, Shell and Visa are awarded to those who have demonstrated the value of investing in design to drive business success and chosen for their understanding of how design can, and does, create change.
We are honoured that Gloucester Rugby has won a 2019 DBA Design Effectiveness Award. The re-brand has provided us with the platform we needed to ensure the club is represented in the right way in future. Being recognised by our peers across various other leading industries is extremely gratifying and gives us further confidence that the time, effort and consideration that went in to it was worth it.
We needed to strike a balance between respecting our rich heritage and being progressive enough to engage a new and younger audience and I am delighted at what we achieved and the impact it has had both internally and externally for the Club.
